Head of Gender and Inclusion
Caroline Sakwa is the Head of Gender and Inclusion at SHOFCO. Prior to this, she served as the Program Manager at REFUSHE’s Heshima Kenya program and as the Head of Social Services at Carolina for Kibera. In addition, Caroline has presented best practices in managing safe spaces at the UN Gender commission summit in New York and trained partners in Bolivia and Berlin on financial literacy education for girls and mental health youth programs. Furthermore, she is a fellow of the Vital Voices program. Caroline holds a bachelors degree and an MBA from the University of Nairobi.
