Healthcare is key to SHOFCO’s holistic approach to help build empowered, healthy generations.

Holistic, Preventative Healthcare and Wellness Education

The Johanna Justin-Jinich Community Clinic (JJJ) provides free medical services open to the entire community of Kibera. Currently our comprehensive clinic adjacent to the Kibera School for Girls specializes in primary, women’s and child healthcare. Staffed by a doctor, nurses, and a team of community health workers, the clinic treats 170 patients per day.

Our services include primary health and preventative care, pre- and postpartum care, child immunizations, comprehensive HIV care, family planning, cervical cancer screening, gender-based violence response, and a child nutrition program. In addition, our community health workers and pilot mobile clinic program ensure that SHOFCO is able to reach those who are unable to come to the clinic.
