Eric Laurits is the Communications Director at SHOFCO. Prior to this, he was the Lead Education Innovation Specialist at SHOFCO and continues to teach as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University. He has also served as the Primary Lead at an independent school in Kenya, a STEAM/Project Based Learning specialist and teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools, and a Teaching Artist with Denver Center for the Performing Arts. He holds an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University, an MFA in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory, and a BA in Music from Colby College.
