Richard Matikanya is the Deputy Executive Director for Africa at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). Before joining CIFF, He served as Managing Director at Tiko, a non-profit organisation leveraging technology to transform sexual and reproductive health services for underserved girls in Africa. He was also a director with KPMG East Africa, where he led the Health and Innovation practice within the International Development Advisory Services unit. He has consulted for the World Bank, Global Fund for AIDS, TB, and Malaria, UNAIDS, FCDO, Frontline AIDS, Safaricom, and Hivos in the areas of strategy, program design and operations, data analytics, governance, and resource mobilisation. He sits on the board of the Healthy Brains Global Initiative.
