Health Director

Emma is the director of health at SHOFCO. Before her engagement at SHOFCO, she worked at Kericho Youth Centre as a reproductive health clinician. She has also served in coordinator positions for HIV prevention programs among them People living with HIV and Key populations programs. She has participated in sexual reproductive health among adolescents and youth in Kericho county. She previously has worked with Christamarriane mission hospital as a general clinician. Emma pioneered SHOFCO Mathare clinic during its genesis in 2015 as a coordinator with only one primary health care department in existence. Currently, she serves as the director of health with an expanded set up that has other departments including maternal child health care, HIV testing services, nutrition services, HIV care and treatment services. Her dream is to see more community-led health services ownership and change of lives through quality health care.
