Eugene Mbugua
Eugene is an entrepreneur and founder of Documentary and Reality Television Limited. Eugene was the youngest producer with a show on Kenyan national television when at 22, his first TV show Young Rich premiered on one of Kenya’s top television stations, K24.
With this company, Eugene has gone on to create and produce more television shows, including: Get in The Kitchen, Our Perfect Wedding, Stori Yangu, My Friend, Being Bahati, Foods of Kenya, The Best of, Concert Nyumbani, and Sol Family. The shows have been aired on K24, KTN, NTV, Maisha Magic East, Showmax, Iflix, Kwese, Startimes, Trigger (South Africa) and Kirk TV. Concert Nyumbani is set to be the biggest entertainment event in Kenyan television history and will air simultaneously on 12 stations.
Eugene is also the founder of Number7, a popular cocktail bar in the Nairobi CBD. Together with his business partners, Eugene also founded Bullocks Farm, a feedlot that purchases bulls and fattens them for 12 weeks to become premium beef.

E. Njoki Kariuki
Njoki started her career in the hospitality industry where she worked for Lonrho Hotels, Alliance Hotels, Walt Disney World Resort and The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta. She later worked for the Mayor’s Office of International Relations, Atlanta. Moving back to Kenya, she founded Tukio Africa Conference and Event Services. Her clients included Microsoft, East African Breweries, Bookside Dairy and Martin Luther King III.
She later took a drastic turn in her career, shifting to Social Enterprise. She founded Karjee Industries, a company that manufactured low cost sanitary pads. As a result of manufacturing sanitary pads, she received numerous requests to donate them to various organizations. She then founded Zuri Dada Sanitary Pad Bank in Kibera where school girls have access to free sanitary pads and mentorship.
She is a recipient of the Presidential Order of Service, Uzalendo Award, in recognition of the exemplary service during Covid -19 pandemic, and the Phoenix Award, for her significant contribution to the City of Atlanta. She is the Chairperson of Greencard Mtaani, an organization that nurtures, educates, protects and empowers children through sport in Kibera. She is also a Member of Rotary Club of Lavington, Nairobi, and founder of Njoki Kariuki Foundation.
Njoki grows tea for the export market and is currently setting up an Industrial Bakery. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Business Management from Morris Brown College, USA. She is a Mother of three daughters.

Caroline is a Human Resource Management professional with over 15 years of experience in organization development and strategic human resources management. She holds a bachelors degree in education from Kenyatta University and a post graduate diploma in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM) Kenya. She is a licensed human resources practitioner by the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM) Kenya. Prior to joining SHOFCO, she worked as a Senior Manager, Human Capital at Deloitte East Africa. She has also worked as a Manager, People and Change at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She has also held various roles in the People and Organization function at EY East Africa.
Caroline’s greatest desire is to see human beings live a life of dignity, in spite of their economic status. She believes that empowered women and girls hold the key to this becoming a reality. She is happy to share her experience in people and organisation management with people who are making this possible

He previously worked for Mercy Corps where he performed various communications, learning and media campaign roles in conflict management, youth and women empowerment projects. Denis is passionate about projecting the voices of communities and telling impact stories.

Robinah Leah Atieno is the Headmistress of SHOFCO Kibera School for Girls. She is a professional teacher who believes all children can learn and thrive in any learning environment and that with hard work and perseverance we can touch each child in a special way, keeping the atmosphere positive is the key to success as well as keeping the lines of communication open among students, teachers and parents.
Robinah is a highly skilled, self-motivated teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. Robinah holds certificates P1 teacher training, diploma in social work and also a diploma in counselling. She has a strong passion for her students as is committed to expanding education beyond the classroom. She is an education professional accomplished in assisting with lessons, collaborating with other professionals to provide the highest level of education for each student.
